         Week 14a- Print Ready Design-Layout Terms

Print layout terms.
Find a definition and picture online for each of the following layout terms.

font (serif & sans-serif) - Serif has little decoration on a letter that look like feet or curls, and the sans-serif do not.

margin - the edge or border of something.

guide (illustrator guides) - it helps you aline pictures on your paper

bleed - print or be printed so that it runs off the page after trimming.

CMYK - a color model in which all colors are described as a mixture of cyan, magenta, yellow, key
  

image resolution -   the detail that an image  holds.

proof copy -  first daft of what text will appaer 


registration mark - a symbol that provides notice that the preceding word or symbol is a trademark or servicemark that has been registered with a national trademark office.

 artboard - a type of good-quality cardboard used for illustration and painting
